Warning: I am not a serious wedding photographer
Well... I take photography seriously. I just don't take myself too seriously.
I'm there to help keep the day relaxed, make your guests feel comfortable and capture all the moments you'll want to relive for years to come.
Think less "stand over there and look romantic" and more "have the best day of your life while I quietly document it."
Based on the Black Isle, travelling all over Scotland in search of good weddings, good people and questionable dance moves.
Let's get one thing out the way...
I wasn't born with a camera in my hand.
I don't have a story about photographing wildlife at age six or winning photography awards before I hit double digits.
I picked up a camera when I was 18 because I thought it'd be fun.
Turns out, I was right.
A few years later I photographed my first wedding and discovered something:
I love weddings.
Not for the chair covers.
Not for the flowers.
Not even for the cake.
I love the people.
The laughs, the hugs, the happy tears, the slightly questionable dance moves and all those little moments that make your day yours.
That's why I do what I do.
My job isn't to turn your wedding into a photoshoot.
My job is to help you enjoy your wedding while I capture it as it happens.
Simple.
Yeah... thats me. I'm Chris.
Thats Joey.. If you love dogs, we'll get along reeaaaaal good!
We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better wedding photographer. From the moment Chris arrived, he made everyone feel completely at ease — so many of our guests commented afterwards on what a genuinely lovely guy he was.
Because I already knew him, I felt so much more relaxed throughout the day, and that really shows in the photos. He captured everything so naturally without ever making anything feel forced or awkward. He blended in perfectly while somehow managing to catch all the special little moments we’ll treasure forever.
Not only is he incredibly talented, but he also brought such a calm, friendly energy to the day which made such a difference. We are so grateful and would recommend him to absolutely anyone looking for a photographer who is both amazing at what he does and an all-round great person.

The best weddings aren't perfect.
They're fun.
Your wedding day is too important to spend it feeling awkward.
The last thing you need is a photographer dragging you away from your guests every five minutes, forcing you into strange poses while shouting things like, "Now laugh naturally!"
No thanks.
I don't believe in spending your wedding day watching from the sidelines either.
I want to celebrate with you, have a laugh with your guests and capture the day as it actually happens.
If you fancy sneaking away for a little adventure, throwing your best mate over your shoulder, or simply having fun while your photos are being taken, we'll get on just fine.
Before becoming a wedding photographer, I was the Wedding Coordinator at Achnagairn Castle, helping run weddings from start to finish.
That means when you book me, you're getting more than someone who turns up with a camera.
You're getting someone who understands how wedding days flow, knows how to keep things calm when timelines inevitably wobble, and can help solve problems before they become problems.
So spend time with your favourite people.
Have another drink.
Get stuck into the dance floor.
Leave the stressing to someone else.
I've got you.
Weddings can be stressful
Thats where I come in
We had so much fun on our day & a large part was due to Chris. He brought the fun for when we were having our photos & we didn't feel awkward.
You don't need to look any further for your photographer!!!

I have nothing but great things to say about Chris. He was unbelievably attentive to us not only on the wedding day but during the build up. He brought the fun as we expected and fitted in so well with our friends and family. If you're looking for a laid back, fun photographer who will have banter with you, then Chris is the photographer for you!
